Lauryn Hill – The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill
Luka – When I had first started out as a musician I had almost 100% certainty that I was going to be a pop/pop punk singer and this album actually caused my venture into soul/RnB and has served to shape most of my contribution to this band as a result. I honestly just stan the whole thing.

Childish Gambino – Awaken, My Love
Rosh – Pretty simply the album blew my mind, I expected the album to be another Hip-Hop album, but wasn’t expecting a Soul one. It was the first time I had ever heard an album that I loved every single track on it.

Kendrick Lamar – To Pimp A Butterfly
Anthony – Before I heard this album I was very much rooted in my belief that rap wasn’t real music and unless it had distorted guitars I wasn’t interested… but I heard this album and immediately fell in love. To this day, it is the most complete musical and artistic experience I have ever heard in all aspects. Lyrically, melodically, harmonically, conceptually, and so on. It is unreal.

Prince – Purple Rain
Harry – This album (and Prince in general) has shaped my musical experience and influence in more ways than one. It’s fearlessness, ferocity and sheer scope is unparalleled in popular music.

Frank Ocean – Blonde
All – Frank Ocean is one of those artists that really seems to be larger than his contemporaries, and when Blonde dropped it hit each of us in very different ways. There really isn’t any other artist like him.
