Evoking endless summer days and bubbling warmth, the new single Bonfire out today from singer-songwriter Dahlia Ray blends buoyant indie pop with 90s sentimentality. Driven by optimism and demure effervescence, Bonfire is also accompanied by a nostalgic music video, complete with a key childhood staple: the humble trampoline.

I heard her music through some Music Industry people and am a huge fan of her. She has a really stunning voice, love her songs too.

Johnny Grant >>>
He’s my friend from uni who co-produced ‘Bonfire’. Johnny is working on his own stuff atm but I just know when it’s done it’ll be something to watch out for. It’s rock music but different, hard to explain.

A dear friend to me. He’s like a “Bowie” but obviously still very different to Bowie. I think he’s got a facebook page up that can be followed to watch out for him. His voice is really stunning. He used to be in a band in London that was called “Islington Boys Club” and his performances were so original and impressive that he attracted people from all over to see him. J.K. Rowling was in the crowd once and used the band in the book “Career Of Evil” as the characters favourite band. It was truly amazing that show. Def one to watch.

I really love her song “Passion to Ashes”. It’s such good pop. It was produced by the boys at MsQuared as well, who Produced “Bonfire”. She really is an outstanding talent on all levels.
