WE GOT TO SPEAK TO THE TEAM BEHIND THIS GREAT SHOW ABOUT THEIR TOP 5 FAVE AUSSIE ROCK BANDS >>

INXS
Their ability to fuse rock n roll with funk, dance and pop in such a unique way is pretty incredible. I never got to see them live, but watching videos of Wembley and Rockin The Royals gets me in the feels.

SILVERCHAIR
I remember first hearing these guys in high school and thinking “They’re not much older than me!”. I loved their raw energy and also the way they evolved thru the years.

NOISEWORKS
Jon Stevens would have to be one of the best pure rock voices in Australia. Ironically he also sang for INXS for a little bit but the 3 albums this group put out are all killer imo.

COLD CHISEL
The vast back catalogue is a testament in itself. Their pure songwriting and multiple voices combining has always grabbed me, as have the blue collar, down to earth honesty in their lyrics.

ELECTRIC MARY
Slightly left field but I remember watching these guys live in 2010 at the Gaelic Club in Sydney. The raw energy in the room was incredible and the first time I’d felt it that intense. Their album “Down To The Bone” is still in my rotation on a weekly basis.
